Westfield Youth Sports offers six recreational baseball leagues (Instructional, A, AA, AAA, Majors, Seniors)

All programs focus on teaching the players the fundamentals of the game by introducing rules as the player progresses up through the leagues. This process allows the player to focus on the necessary skills at each level rather than an excess of rules.

All leagues feature open participation (i.e.; no tryouts) which means all players will be placed on a team that register before the cutoff and prior to the league capacity no matter skill level or experience. Please note, Westfield Youth Sports does conduct evaluations in an attempt to keep teams evenly matched.

Games and practices occur across a variety of locations in Westfield but no travel is required. Our facilities include Shamrock Springs 4Plex, Grand Park, and other Elementary Fields. Teams will practice or play a game 2-4 nights a week which includes one Saturday game.

Instructional: Ages 5-6 (Boys & Girls)
A: Ages 6-7
AA: Ages 7-8
AAA: Ages 9-10
Majors: Ages 11-12
Seniors: 13-16
*Based on player's age of May 1 of the current season

Background Checks Required: Anyone that wants to coach or volunteer needs to have a current background check on file with Westfield Youth Sports.
