Westfield Youth Sports will once again offer an in-house instructional basketball league for boys and girls in Pre-K and Kindergarten (Ages 4-6). An emphasis will be placed on introducing the players to basic fundamentals of the game in a fun and non-competitive setting.

Practices and games are played on Saturdays at various Westfield Elementary School locations with approximately half the time spent practicing followed by game time with another team. The eight-week program starts in February and ends in March. The first practice and game is scheduled for the Week of February 7.

Registration for this league will open on Dec. 15 and will close on Jan. 12. Anyone that signs up before the end of the day on Jan. 5 will receive the Early Bird Discount (the $20 discount will be applied at the end of the registration process). The full registration price has been set at $145.

Those interested in coaching will need to complete a background check and all athletes must be four years old by Jan. 1, 2026.
